Abwicklung : Procedure

Allgemein

General
Our work starts from the project’s regular working plans, if possible completed by additional photographs of the model and the site. Due to our education and experience we are able to work from incomplete information, conditional for a participation in architectural competitions.
Material and detailing can be discussed or conveyed through examples. In most of the cases we produce a complete three-dimensional computer-model. Since this can be a quite complex task, we normally render several images from a single model. Different viewing angles, lighting changes or detail views are possible options. This keeps the expenditure per image on a very competitive level. A further advantage is the economic and fast way images can be updated during the developement of a project.
Thanks to modern means of communication we regularly produced succesful images for clients with no personal contact at all.

Photo-composites
We normally use large-format negatives done by professional architectural photographers. The resulution and quality is needed to be able to provide large printouts and to counterbalance the detail we put into the architectural models. With photo-composites it is not necessary to model the complete environment of the project, a further advantage is the enhanced subtlety of the finished images.
Specific conditions of the building site and climatic influences can restrict the possibility of doing photo-composites.

Product
In all cases the finished product is a computer based image file in any given format that can be easily layouted into competition plans or distributed via electronic and printed media.
